Boys Swimming: Warriors Split Double-Dual
The SHS Boys’ Swimming and Diving team split a double-duel with Byron and Rockford-Boylan Wednesday in Byron. The Golden Warriors knocked off Byron 100-81, but were edged out by Boylan 95-91.
Highlight’s for the Warriors included Keaton Dir and Michael Fassler going 1-2 in the 100 fly. Dir touched first (59.99), with Fassler a close second (1:00.30).
Fassler took top honors in the 100 back (1:00.34), and Keanu Interone swam to a first place finish in the 100 breast (59.62).
Next Up: The Golden Warriors compete at the Ottawa Pentathlon Saturday (1/21), with action beginning at 10:00 a.m.
