Boys Basketball:  Warriors Improve to 7-3

The SHS Boys Basketball team used a 15-0 run to end the third quarter and begin the fourth enroot to a 67-61 win at Galesburg Tuesday.

Jose Knox paced Sterling with 17 points and four 3-pointers.  Chris Fritch added 13 points and five rebounds.  Marcus Robinson was also in double figures with 10 points.

The win is Sterling’s first in Galesburg since 1978, breaking a string of 14 consecutive losses.

Next Up:  The Golden Warriors begin play at the DeKalb Holiday Tournament Thursday (12/22) at 3:30 p.m. against Machesney-Park Harlem.
