Cross Country: Harkness Places 119th at State Finals

SHS senior Dylan Harkness closed out his high school cross country career with a 119th place finish at the IHSA 2A State Finals Saturday at Detweiller Park in Peoria.

Harkness, who had been battling a cold all week, clocked in with a time of 16:24 for the three-mile course. He posted one-mile splits of 5:01, 5:26, and 5:58. There were a total of 209 runners in the race.
