Girls Track:  Warriors Cruise Past LP

The SHS Girls Track and Field team won 15 of the 18 events in easily outdistancing LaSalle-Peru 117-28 Wednesday at DuWayne Dietz Track.

Nicole Renner and Krista Loos were both double individual winners for the Golden Warriors.  Renner won the 100 (12.61) and 200 (27.66) meter dashes, while Loos captured 100 (16.52) and 300 (50.53) hurdles.

Other individual winners for Sterling were:
Lauren Vos – high jump
Lauren Zuidema – pole vault
Sara Schneiderbauer – long jump
Madeleine Sheley – triple jump
Alisa Weir – shot put
Cori Delapo – discus
Emily Crossley – 400
Rachel Lathe – 1600

Sterling also won the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays.
