Boys Track:  Warriors Fall to Moline

The Sterling and Moline Boys’ Track and Field teams entered the last event of Tuesday’s indoor meet in a dead heat, tied at 66.  It all came down to the 4x400 relay, and Moline was able to claim victory in the event, giving the Maroons the meet 71-69.

Sterling’s three individual wins call came in field events as Gage Drain won the high jump (5-6), Chase Cheshire the triple jump (36-6.75), and Jordan Neal the shot put (45-3).

Next Up:  Sterling hosts the Northern Illinois Big-12 Indoor Meet Saturday (3/19) at Westwood.  Action begins at 9:00 a.m.
