Volleyball:  Warriors Down UT in Season Opener

The SHS Volleyball team opened the 2010 season with a two-game win over United Township Thursday at Musgrove Fieldhouse.  The Golden Warriors outlasted UT 28-26 in game one, then cruised to a 25-15 win in game two.

Senior Morgan Martells had a huge night for the Warriors, recording seven kills, six ace serves and three blocks.  Sophomore Jennifer Rahn also had seven kills.  Carly Willman had 12 digs and Lauren Hernandez 12 assists.

Sterling also recorded wins on the sophomore and freshman levels.
