Boys Cross Country: Warriors Fall to Geneseo
The SHS Boys’ Cross Country team fell to Geneseo 23-40 in the annual grass relay season opener for both teams Tuesday at Hoover Park in Sterling.
Senior Jacob Landis was Sterling’s top finisher with a solid time of 15:34 for the three mile course. He was followed by younger brother Josh in a time of 17:38.
In the grass relay format, each team enters a series of two-runner squads that run a six-mile relay. Each individual runner runs three miles in one-mile increments. See below for complete Sterling results.
