Wrestling:  Warriors Fall To Sycamore at Sectionals

For the second straight year, the SHS Wrestling team saw its season come to an end one win short of the trip to the state finals.  The Golden Warriors fell to Sycamore 41-23 Tuesday at the Geneseo 2A Sectional.  Sycamore advances to the Elite-8 for the first time in school history.

Sterling ends a stellar season with a final duel meet record of 17-4.  The season also saw the Golden Warriors win conference regular season and post-season championships as well as their second straight regional championship.
