Girls Cross Country: Warriors Second at Geneseo Invite

The SHS Girls Cross Country team placed second to Davenport West at the Geneseo Invitational Saturday. The meet is scored by combining the results from freshman, sophomore, junior and senior divisions. Sterling placed third and the freshman level (68 points), fifth at the sophomore level (78 points), first at the junior level (43 points) and fourth at the senior level (76 points). The Golden Warriors combined score of 265 was 36 points behind Davenport West and 15 ahead of third place Geneseo.
