It will be Sterling against LaSalle-Peru in the first round of the IHSA 5A playoffs, exactly one week after the two teams met in the final game of the regular season.  The rematch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Friday (Oct. 30) at Roscoe Eades Stadium.

Sterling is the second smallest team in the 32-team 5A field.
