Boys Cross Country:  Warriors Host Moline, Rock Island, UT

The SHS Boys Cross Country team hosted a quadrangular featuring Western Big 6 conference teams Moline, Rock Island and United Township Tuesday at Hoover Park in Sterling.

Moline edged UT 46-47 for first place, despite UT claiming the first three places.  Rock Island was third (51), followed by the Golden Warriors with 80.

Junior Jacob Landis was Sterling’s top finisher, in fourth place overall, in a time of 16:24.  Cody Webster from UT took first place in 15:46.
