Boys Cross Country:  Warriors Third at Twin City Meet

The SHS Boys Cross Country team ran to a third place finish at the annual Twin City Meet held at Hoover Park in Sterling Tuesday. 

Newman, state ranked in class 1A, claimed the top two spots and four of the first five and took first place with 19 points, followed by Rock Falls (57) and Sterling 61.

Junior Jacob Landis was Sterling’s top finisher, in third place overall in a time of 16:37.
