Boys Cross Country: Landis in Top 20 at Galesburg Invite

Junior Jacob Landis raced to a 16th place finish and earned a medal at the Galesburg Silver Streak Invite Saturday.

Landis clocked in with a time of 17:06. The top 30 runners earned medals. As a team, Sterling finished in 12th place.

On the frosh-soph level, Sterling placed 7th as a team with Matt Dirks (16th; 19:30)
Trevor Johnson (18th; 19:43) earning medals.

The Golden Warriors run against Dixon and LaSalle-Peru Tuesday (9/8) at Lowell Park in Dixon.
