Girls Cross Country: Warriors Place Third at NCIC-Reagan Meet

The SHS Girls Cross Country team placed third at the NCIC-Reagan championship meet Saturday in Geneseo. Dixon took first place with a near perfect score of 18. Geneseo was next with 40, then the Warriors with 63. LaSalle-Peru, Ottawa and Streator did not field complete teams.

Sterling’s top finisher was freshman Carrie McPherson, who placed 8th in a time of 20:49.
