Football:  Loos Named All State

SHS junior offensive lineman Tyler Loos has been named to the Illinois Football Coaches Association Class 5A All State team.

Loos, 6’5 270, becomes Sterling’s fourth IFCA all-stater in Greg King’s seven years as head coach, joining Kevin Megli (2002), Graham Hall (2005) and Joe Schneiderbauer (2006).  He is the first junior and first lineman to garner the honor. He and his fellow 5A all state members will be honored before the state championship game Saturday, November 29 at Memorial Stadium in Champaign.

Loos is being recruited by a number of D1 football programs including Stanford, Northwestern, Iowa and Illinois.
