Boys Golf:  Kunde Third at NCIC Invitational

SHS Senior Golfer Josh Kunde shot a 75 at the NCIC-Reagan Invitational at Maple Bluff Golf Course in Geneseo Thursday and claimed third place honors.

Kunde went out in 40, but rallied on the back with a 35.  With Thursday’s effort and his play in NCIC duals throughout the season, Kunde landed himself a spot on the NCIC-Reagan All Conference squad.

In the team competition, Sterling placed fourth with a score of 331.  Matt Hulteen shot of 79 for the Warriors.  He was followed by Drake Mellott with an 85.

Paced by Collin Myers’ medalist score of 69, Ottawa won the team title with a score of 303.
