Girls Cross Country: Warriors 19th at Sterling Invite

Sophomore Carissa Apperson was Sterling’s top finisher at the Sterling Invitational, held Saturday (10/6) at Hoover Park. Apperson’s time of 20:20 was good enough for 56th place in a field of runners from 26 teams.

As a team, Sterling placed 19th with 518 points. Iowa City High won the team title with a score of 68.
