Boys Cross Country: Landis, Schott Headed to Sectionals

A freshman and a senior have claimed spots in next weeks Belvidere Boys Class-2A Cross Country Sectional for the Golden Warriors.

Running at the Rock Falls Regional on Saturday (10/20), freshman Jacob Landis clocked in with a time of 16:40, earning him a sectional spot with a 17th place finish.

Senior Ben Schott earned his sectional spot with a 30th place finish in a time of 17:12.

As a team, Sterling finished in seventh place with the top five squads earning sectional spots.
