Boys Cross Country: Warriors 28th at Sterling Invite

Senior Ben Schott was Sterling’s top finisher at the Sterling Invitational, held Saturday (10/6) at Hoover Park. Schott covered the three-mile course in 18:07, good enough for 138th place in a field of runners from 30 teams.

In the team competition, Sterling finished in 28th place with a score of 801. Perennial power Neuqua Valley took first place with 39 points, claiming three of the first five places. Neuqua Valley’s Christopher Derrick took first place in a new meet record time of 14:26.
